Experimental iPhone Photography: Artistic Images Beyond the Snapshot
6 lessons
Some of the most striking images you'll ever make start with the phone already in your pocket. Lisa Carney is a high-end retoucher with more than 30 years in the motion picture and television industries, and in this course she shows you how to break the rules on purpose. Across six lessons you'll create double exposures, light leaks, photograms, wet plate and blueprint looks, and abstract and pattern photography, then finish your images with mobile apps like Mextures, Tintype, Prisma, and Diana. You'll come away seeing everyday photos as raw material for original works of art.

Dragonflies at Lower Pond
Two dragonflies near the edge of the lower pond at our family camp July 4th, 2026. I sat quietly on the bench for a while watching the waterlilies but the dragonflies were too big and busy not to watch also.
