A small delivery just arrived from Oaxaca.

We’ve just brought back a best selling summer body oil in a favorite bottle. Based on a traditional Mexican hibiscus flower infusion, Agua de Jamaica is deeply moisturizing, created from rich hibiscus flower seed oil slowly infused with fresh ginger, lime, and cinnamon. The scent is light, silky, and subtly nutty, lifted by bright citrus zest and softened with the warm spice of a summer evening. A botanical blend associated with sensuality and vitality because of the naturally aphrodisiac botanicals, Agua de Jamaica is our kick-off to summer, a composition created for sun-warmed and radiant skin.

Agua de Jamaica is a slow infusion of simple, natural botanicals that deeply moisturize and soothe the skin. Hibiscus flower seed oil is packed with antioxidants, Vitamin C, and natural acids that can help to firm and rejuvenate the skin. The ginger, lime, and cinnamon infused into the hibiscus adds astringent and stimulating properties but these aromatic essences are also naturally aphrodisiac, making the body oil a perfect post shower refresher for sultry summer skin.

The organically shaped bottle, handmade in Mexico from recycled glass, was a favorite and we haven’t been able to make them for nearly three years. A small delivery just arrived, each piece hand blown at a revolutionary glassblowing studio in Oaxaca, Mexico. The studio has spent the last fifteen years perfecting not only their craft of glassblowing, but the sustainable and ecological way that they run their facility. Through much experimentation they've learned to create beauty from waste – their beautiful glass pieces are made from recycled bottles brought to the studio by waste pickers, restaurants, and locals because there are no municipal recycling programs in the area. During a typical week, 550 pounds of discarded glass is recycled and used to create beautiful, handmade vessels.
