After weeks of waiting list, a small delivery of Vivante.

We’ve just restocked a small batch of Vivante, likely the last bottles of the year. This is a special perfumed body oil, not only because the bottle is exquisite, but also because it is handmade with davana, an aromatic herb native to India that has been used for centuries in Ayurvedic practice. It is also a favorite in perfumery, particularly in skin-close fragrances, because the scent of the herb is quite alive and can shift dramatically according to the chemistry of the wearer. Over time, it became known as the “mood ring” of scent because the aroma can even change with emotion and atmosphere. Sensual and boozy, herbaceous and golden, on some it has facets of ripe fruit, tea, and warm hay. In Ayurveda, fragrant plants are considered energetic and davana is traditionally used to soothe the nervous system and support emotional balance.
