We’ve never approached beauty as a solution to a problem. Our world has always been rooted instead in vitality, joy, curiosity, and atmosphere. For us, beauty lives alongside us and personalizes our space. The bottles themselves are like small pieces of art, the ingredients support the body, and the ritual of applying something slowly and with intention has the power to transform how you start and end your day. Next week, we’ll be releasing a new chapter in the world of Kindred Black – an expansion of scent and atmosphere deeply connected to everything that inspires us: history, ritual, craftsmanship, and the emotional power of the objects that surround us. It’s something we’ve been working on for a very long time and we cannot wait to finally share it with you. 

The first edition in an evolving seasonal perfume series inspired by metamorphosis and the lush, electric vitality of spring. Floralia Viridis is a nuanced green floral, built around spring jonquille of the daffodil family, a flower honeyed and softly narcotic, with facets of mimosa, hazelnut, tobacco, and blackcurrant.

A calming and versatile body oil created by slowly infusing fresh chamomile flowers into Sonoran Desert jojoba. Inspired by the ancient tradition of unguents, fragrant oils and salves that were rubbed into the body for healing, anointing, and daily ritual. This edition is in a special larger size of our rainbow kaleidoscope bottles. Each bottle is a unique treasure hand blown in Mexico by artisans that use recycled glass and renewable energy for their craft.

A lip treatment oil, handmade by slowly infusing fresh jojoba seed oil with Sonoran Desert propolis and rare Mexican vanilla pompona beans. This gradual, cold infusion draws out the skin-beneficial properties of the propolis without potentially damaging exposure to heat, and imbues the lip oil with the soft, marshmallow sweetness of the vanilla. An aromatic resin made by bees, propolis has long been prized as a healer for dry and compromised skin, helping to repair, protect, and create a resilient, balanced skin barrier on the lips.
