250 years ago, 56 men gathered in Philadelphia to do something that terrified them.
They signed their names to a document that made them traitors to the most powerful empire on earth.
And at the bottom of that Declaration, they made a promise to each other:
"We mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor."
They weren't just signing a piece of paper…
They were signing a death wish (and they knew it).
→ Nine of them died during the war that followed — from illness, hardship, and the toll of revolution.
→ Five were captured and imprisoned by the British, subjected to brutal treatment.
→ Seventeen lost their homes or property to British raids and retaliation.
But they did it anyway.
Because some things are worth protecting — even when it costs you everything.
Your family. Your freedom. Your sacred honor.
That same spirit lives in YOU today.
You're the kind of person who would step up when it matters most. Who would put yourself between danger and the people you love.
But here's the hard truth those 56 signers understood:
You can't protect what matters if you're not prepared for what comes after.
When you act to defend your family, everything changes.
Police reports. Legal questions. Maybe even criminal charges when you did everything right.
That's why I started the USCCA.
To stand with modern-day protectors the same way those 56 founders stood with each other.
To make sure you're never alone when you need help most.
