We’ve all seen the story by now:
August 1st. Twin Falls, Idaho.
A gunman opened fire outside an In-N-Out Burger.
Three people killed. Seven more wounded.
Jordan Salinas, an armed bystander, didn't wait for someone else to act.
Alongside an off-duty Idaho State Trooper, he confronted the gunman and returned fire.
Police say their actions drove the gunman from the scene and prevented more people from being hurt.
Salinas later told the Idaho Statesman:
"He did not like it when bullets started firing both ways."

Here's what I want you to sit with: he didn't get lucky.
He'd already put in the reps.
Under real stress, people don't rise to the moment. They default to whatever level they've trained to.
The question isn't "could I be a hero…"
It's: “Am I ready to start taking this responsibility seriously?”
Jordan started training seriously in 2021 after witnessing a mass shooting at a mall.
He trained every week. Not just at the range — but by mentally rehearsing a four-step framework until it became automatic.
When the shots rang out at that In-N-Out, he didn't freeze or panic.
He observed. He oriented. He decided. He acted.
That's what training does. It turns chaos into clarity.
And that's exactly what we're going to help you build.
This Wednesday, Mike Seeklander, USCCA® Director of Education and Training, and a USCCA® network attorney will walk through the decision-making and the physical skills for exactly this kind of moment.
100% of this material is based on real-life experience … the kind that works when your heart's pounding and your hands are shaking.
Because the truth is: you're already the person your family is counting on.
The only question is whether you'll be ready when it matters.

P.S. - Jordan made a decision in 2021 to become the prepared, confident Protector that he and his family could count on.
In 2026, he saved countless lives by doing so.
Let this be the moment that you commit to becoming the Protector you’re capable of being.
And let us help you get there by joining the “From Gun Owner to Protector” masterclass happening this Wednesday.
