Your hands are shaking.
Your gun is still smoking.
And your brain is going 200 mph.
Then, the police arrive.
Before you even realize it, these words come out of your mouth:
“He came at me and I overreacted.”
All you meant was that you reacted strongly … but the prosecutor used those TWO words to “prove” that you knew what you did was wrong.
Think you’d never say something like that?
USCCA® Network Attorney Irena Stefanovski just got done defending a client who did exactly this.
He was a normal guy — until his body was dumping bucketloads of adrenaline into his blood.
Under the influence of high-stress adrenaline, it is nearly psychologically impossible to choose your words carefully.
One misspoken word under pressure turned into months of legal jeopardy.
To keep you from walking into this trap, I want you to memorize the exact, attorney-vetted script to use if you ever have to contact law enforcement after an incident:
“My name is [Your Name]. I was attacked.
I am exercising my right to remain silent, and I want to speak to an attorney.
I will cooperate fully, but I will not make a statement until my attorney is present.”
Once you say those words, stop talking.
Say absolutely NOTHING else until your representation is standing right next to you.
Knowing how to handle the immediate 60 seconds after a threat is stopped is just one part of keeping your family safe.
You also have to survive the physical fight at close range, the grueling 20-to-30-minute wait for help to arrive, and the complex legal system that follows.
That's exactly why we're running an exclusive, free online training tomorrow at 7:00 PM local time: “From Gun Owner to Protector”.
We’ve brought in Marine combat vet Mike Seeklander to demonstrate physical survival skills on camera, and criminal defense attorney Irena Stefanovski to show you how to navigate the legal aftermath.
It costs nothing but an hour of your time, but it could literally save you from years in a prison cell.
