When most people think about lip balm, they reach for it during the day.
But if you only apply lip balm once, bedtime is actually the best time to do it.
Why?
Because while you sleep, your lips finally get a break.
No coffee cups. No meals. No talking. No wiping your mouth after lunch. No cold wind or summer sun.
For 7–8 hours, the balm has a chance to sit undisturbed and do what it's supposed to do: help protect your lips from moisture loss.
It's the same reason we often apply richer skincare products before bed. Nighttime gives them time to work.
