We are three weeks away from the 24 June deadline to submit session proposals for Open Source Summit + Embedded Linux Conference Europe (7-9 October).

This event is shaped entirely by the community — the technical deep-dives and lessons learned come directly from the people doing the work every day. We are accepting standard sessions, labs, panels, and lightning talks across 11 core tracks:

💡 Quick Tips & Submission Guidelines

🎓 Keep it educational: Focus on open source technologies, practical lessons, and real-world experience. Product pitches or closed-source topics will not be accepted.

🛠️ Be authentic: Reviewers are looking for clear ideas and genuine technical insight, not overly polished or heavily templated abstracts.

⚖️ Panel equity matters: Please include all proposed speakers when submitting panel sessions. To support a more inclusive event, all-male panels will not be accepted.

📣 First-time speakers are encouraged: New voices are always welcome. If you’re unsure about your abstract, our team is happy to help you refine your proposal.

🎯 Think about audience takeaways: Strong proposals clearly explain what attendees will learn and why it matters to the broader open source ecosystem.
