This was waiting for me on my workbench this morning.

Our Vintage Coin Cross necklace continues to be one of the pieces we make most often, and I still enjoy watching all of the tiny components come together before it leaves the studio.

Looking at the finished necklace, it's easy to forget how many little steps happen along the way.

Every adjustable bead ring is threaded on by hand.

Every chain is measured.

Every bead end tip carefully placed.

Every piece is inspected before it's packaged and shipped from our little studio in Carlsbad.

Some mornings are spent making customer favorites like this one. Other days I'm sketching new ideas, testing gemstone combinations, or simply moving beads around until something feels just right.

That's the part of handmade I hope always shines through.
