Just a quiet note before the day comes to a close.
Memorial Day has always carried a little more meaning for me personally. My grandfather served in the Air Force and spent years traveling and living in different parts of the world in service to our country, so this holiday has always felt especially reflective in our family.
Today, I’m thinking about the people who served, the families who sacrificed alongside them, and the lives that shaped this country in ways we’ll never fully know. I’m deeply grateful for that service and sacrifice.
And on a smaller note, I’m also grateful for everyone who continues to support our little handmade studio here in San Diego. Truly.
