What "handmade" actually means at LØCI

Made by hand.

Three words. Easy to say. Harder to do.

Every LØCI sneaker starts in the ocean. Not in mass production. The plastic that washes up on a beach. Foam shaped from yesterday's waste. Rubber that's already been used once.

We chose those on purpose.

Then it gets slow. Small batches. People who get paid fairly to make them. The kind of work that takes hands, not shortcuts.

It costs more. We know.

We could do it faster... or cheaper. But we don't, because the cost we care about isn't the one on the price tag. It's the one on the planet, the people, and the years you'll wear the shoe.

This isn't mass made. It never has been.
