Cool Tricks in ‘86
The year is 1986. Top Gun, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and Aliens just hit theaters. We’re bopping to Madonna, Janet Jackson and Bon Jovi, as well as playing games like Super Mario Bros. and the Legend of Zelda in our living rooms. For us, however, the most iconic development was the creation of the first mass-marketed disposable camera in Japan: the Quicksnap. 40 years later, our Half-frame Simple Use Reloadable Film Camera shows just how much the humble disposable camera has evolved since then.

What started 40 years ago with the Quicksnap inspired many more disposable cameras to follow. We made our own Simple Use Reloadable Film Cameras with the iconic look of a disposable camera, equipped with a pre-loaded roll and built-in flash, but made them reloadable! More eco-friendly, more fun. Now, with the new Half-frame Simple Use Reloadable Camera, that all gets doubled. Shoot 40 photos on the preloaded film, then reload with any and shoot 72 photos on one roll! Made from 100% recycled materials, it’s no waste, no fuss, just analogue!
