A letter from Loren... 💌

Happy Friday! Summer is flying by like it always does, and I'm doing my best to balance work and life. I feel the most like myself during this time of year... maybe it's because I was born in July or maybe it's just because Summer is universally loved, especially in New England. We paid for it big time this year with the blizzard we had, so I'm relishing every hydrangea and cone flower in sight.

I'm popping into your inbox today to give you a heads up that we are doing Christmas in July again this year, and it starts tomorrow! We will have our favorite holiday decor pieces available for pre-order for a window of time, and then they will ship out in October. Why do we do this? Well, the tree toppers are incredibly complex, with a massive variety of stones, which requires ample production time. They are also quite costly to produce so we need to make what we have demand for, verses going into the project blind.

A little background on how the holiday decor pieces came about... it was the summer of 2020 and we were in the thick of the pandemic. It was a scary and uncertain time, we were all longing for comfort. We were also at home all the time, so making our homes feel like a safe respite was top of mind. As we brainstormed the upcoming holiday season, a flash of inspiration struck me like a lightening bolt, and I saw a shimmering star, bursting with joy. My eyes lit up and I started sketching as fast as I could, explaining the idea with the team while I scribbled rapidly on printer paper. We worked through the construction and got to designing and were delighted with the finished result. Stones were officially for more than just jewelry. From there, I envisioned a tassel made of diamonds... because tassels make everything better. I couldn't think of anything more fabulous than a diamond tassel you could toss on anything... and I'm excited to say that the Dynasty Tassel will be back and available to pre-order during the event alongside the tree toppers.

The decor pieces are meant to be heirlooms that you treasure and look forward to unpacking year after year as you decorate for the season. They have become one of the stars of LH (pun intended), and it makes me sentimental that my gift of creativity is shared with others in a special ritual with dear loved ones.
