Picking the supplement you need in your life
are you taking these for your goals?

Hey girl, it's Katie 💚
Last week I asked my text club a question: what's your biggest goal right now? Thousands of you replied and I read every single one.
Today I'm answering for anyone who didn't reply. Based on what you told me, here's exactly what I'd focus on depending on the goal you picked. I'm going to give you exactly what you need to know to get closer than you ever have been.
Before we get into the deets, make sure you're covering the basics: a quality multivitamin, vitamin D if you're not getting regular sun, and magnesium if your sleep could be better. These aren't glamorous but they're a great foundation everything else is built on. You can get these anywhere. Get good ones and take them consistently.
Now let's talk about the specific stuff that actually makes a difference for each goal 👇
On the menu today:
Goal 1: Less bloating
Goal 2: Get toned
Goal 3: More energy
Goal 4: Less stress
What to try this week

If you said: Less Bloating 🤰
This was one of the top responses and I'm not surprised. Bloating affects how you feel in your body every single day and it's exhausting.
Digestive enzymes + gut support
Most bloating comes from food not breaking down properly. Your body produces its own digestive enzymes, but stress, eating too fast, aging, and certain foods can overwhelm your gut. A quality digestive enzyme blend taken before meals helps your body actually process what you're eating instead of just sitting on it.
Beyond enzymes, gut-soothing herbs like peppermint, ginger, and turmeric can calm inflammation in the digestive tract. And ingredients like slippery elm help coat and protect the gut lining. A good probiotic can also help if your gut bacteria are out of balance.
What I take: Bloat Be Gone
I built BBG because I couldn't find anything that combined the enzyme side AND the soothing side in one product. It has 6 digestive enzymes (Protease, Amylase, Lipase, Cellulase, Bromelain, Papain) plus Slippery Elm, Peppermint, Ginger, Turmeric, Dandelion Root, and Lemon Balm. 2 capsules in the morning, 2 before your biggest meal.
100+ five-star reviews and it's the product my friends ask me about more than any other. Check out the text my bestie Katie sent me this week below!
I also talked about non-food causes of bloating in FGE Vol 19 (water intake, stress, your cycle, eating speed). If you missed it, go back and read it because the supplement works best when you're addressing the other stuff too.

If you said: Get Toned 💪
SO many of you said this. I covered what "toned" actually means in FGE Vol 21, but the short version: muscle + low enough body fat to see it. You need to build the muscle AND reveal it through nutrition.
Creatine + protein
Creatine is the most impactful supplement for the muscle-building side of getting toned. It's the most studied performance supplement in existence and it directly supports the energy system your muscles use during exercise. More strength output = more muscle stimulus = more definition over time. 5g daily is the clinically studied dose. It compounds over weeks so consistency matters more than anything. 5g a day, every day, for the rest of your life. This is the key.
Protein powder isn't magic, but sometimes it feels like it. It's a really efficient way to close the gap between what most women eat (~50-60g/day) and what they need for body composition changes (~100g+). You could eat whole food protein for all of it, but most women I talk to find it really hard to hit their number from food alone. A scoop fills in wherever you're short.
What I take: (her)FORM + LSF Plant Protein
I built (her)FORM because every creatine on the market was designed for men or was just plain creatine with nothing else. Ours has 5g Creapure Creatine (the gold standard), 3g L-Glutamine for gut health and recovery, 2.5g Betaine for body composition, plus Coconut Water Powder and Himalayan Sea Salt for hydration. A full formula built specifically for women's bodies.
Plant Protein is 20g protein in 1 scoop. One shake makes getting your protein SO much easier without adding a bunch of extra calories. I use mine multiple times a day.
If I had to pick one to start with, I'd say creatine. Most women are already getting some protein from food but almost nobody is getting creatine.
Our 30 Day Creatine Challenge starts Monday 8/3! Grab your bag of (her)FORM and i'll send you everything you need to start the challenge.

If you said: More Energy ⚡
This one comes up constantly and most women are trying to solve it with more coffee. But the real fix is usually two things that are very different.
Sleep support + clean energy
Your daytime energy is directly tied to how well you actually slept. Not just how many hours, but the quality. If you're waking up exhausted after 7 hours, more caffeine isn't the answer. Better sleep is.
On the daytime side, natural caffeine from green tea paired with adaptogens like Ashwagandha gives you energy that lasts without the jitters and crash of your 4th cup of coffee.
What I use: Slumber Party + Pep Rally
Slumber Party is my nighttime routine. Magnesium, L-Theanine, GABA, Valerian Root, Chamomile, and just 2.2mg of Melatonin. Tastes like hot chocolate, helps me fall asleep faster and actually stay asleep. No grogginess the next morning. The difference in how I wake up is night and day. I take 1 scoop 30 mins before bed, every night.
Pep Rally is my daytime energy. 100mg natural caffeine from Green Tea + Ginseng, KSM-66 Ashwagandha, B6 and B12. Comes in tangerine stick packs I throw in water before a workout or when the afternoon hits me hard. It's the equivalent to 1 cup of coffee, but less calories and great for on the go.
Fix the sleep first. Everything else gets easier from there.

If you said: Less Stress 🧘♀️
I felt this one. So many of you replied with this and it tells me a lot about where women are at right now. Running on empty, snapping at people you love, carrying everything and feeling like you're barely holding it together.
Adaptogenic mood + hormonal support
Chronic stress depletes your body. It burns through B vitamins, disrupts your hormones, affects your gut, your sleep, your mood, everything. The foundation is absolutely lifestyle stuff (sleep, boundaries, movement, not running yourself into the ground) and no supplement replaces that.
But adaptogenic herbs can truly support your body's ability to handle stress without being in constant fight-or-flight. Ashwagandha, Lion's Mane, and other adaptogens help regulate your cortisol response. Ingredients that support hormonal balance matter too because stress and hormones are deeply connected for women. When one is off, the other follows.
What I take: Miss Congeniality
I call this my daily sanity saver and I mean it. It goes in my coffee every morning, I can't taste it, and by afternoon I can feel the difference in how I'm responding to things.
Miss C supports mood, stress response, and hormonal balance. It gets the most emotional DMs of anything we make. Women telling me they feel like themselves again. Less reactive, more patient, calmer without feeling numb.
I don't skip this one. When I've gone a few days without it traveling or whatever, I notice. Ryan notices 😂
