Over 1–5 July, we supported our Sydney hybrid community with loud cheers, breathwork with Ambassador Ryan Mannix in the lululemon breathing room, sessions with the REVL team and panel talks. Well done to all involved and see you at the next start line.

Lauren’s raising the bar.

What was your journey to opening Studio Spring?

Founding Studio Spring is the boldest thing I've done. A year into private practice as a physiotherapist, my "dream job" I lost my spark, burnt out, and nearly moved to Wollongong at 23. COVID then came and forced the slow-down I'd never given myself. In that lull, my then-boyfriend, now-husband and business partner kept telling me my whole system lit up when I taught Reformer classes. After about a year of him trying to convince me, I finally said "screw it" and we dove in. One studio became four in four years, each opening almost exactly a year apart.

Which lululemon product is your go-to for a Reformer class and why?

I'm always layered: Align Shorts underneath the Swift High-Rise Wide-Leg Pant; Align's buttery Nulu™ moving with me through demos while Swift's lightweight, sweat-wicking fabric keeps me warm without restriction. What are you most excited for in the next 6 months?

I'm gearing up for a new, uncharted chapter for Spring, can't say too much yet! But in preparation, this year has been about real investment in my mindset and leadership: seeing a psychologist as my "brain coach", a Vedic counsellor for life guidance, and a female leadership mentor. I'm excited to bring more calm and playfulness into the work after five big years of pushing myself.

What is something you've achieved in the last 6 months that you are super proud of?

Running a 1:51:59 half marathon PB while running four studios has taught me discipline shows up everywhere. Just as proud: re-signing as a lululemon Ambassador for a second contract, and learning to look after myself and build better, more sustainable habits.
