To celebrate the U.S. 250th, we’ve engineered a special-edition 41mm Automatic Pilot’s Navigator with Date that’s rooted in history, but built for the skies. Limited to just 250 pieces, the watch takes inspiration from the iconic American flag and the “Star Spangled Banner” anthem.

Inspired by “the twilight’s last gleaming,” this is the first stainless steel Marathon Pilot’s Navigator finished in black anthracite Ion-Plated armor.

The Stainless Steel Navigator was originally developed in 1986 as a joint initiative with Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio—a defining chapter in Marathon's history of supplying the U.S. military with purpose-built watches.

The U.S. 250 Anthracite 41mm SSNAV-D Auto builds on that history, with unique elements added to mark the U.S. 250th milestone.

This limited-edition Anthracite SSNAV-D Auto has been finished with a series of considered details to commemorate the U.S. and the 250th anniversary.

THE DIAL

An appliqué of "1776" encircled by stars adorns the dial, calling back to the first symbol of a nation.

As a reference to "the rockets' red glare," a red tritium tube is situated at the 12.
