A Letter From Anita, To You

Hello ,
Welcome to May’s gratitude roundup.
Now the extreme heat has subsided, I do hope you’re gently settling into the softer rhythms of summer. I remember a day in late May that was so hot, I simply closed my laptop, headed home, showered and took a siesta. While daytime naps are not encouraged for all, summer day time napping is a good thing and sometimes the most productive thing to do is rest.
In stillness, we open to noticing the small delights all around us. I stopped and picked up my book club recommendation. It’s called ‘The Things We Never Say’ by Elizabeth Strout and is a nice, easy, thought-provoking read. I recommend it.
I also want to recommend taking a walk without headphones or speaking on the phone. Simply notice the way trees create dappled shadows on the ground, the flowers about to bloom, the birdsong and the signs. Many times, as I walk, I notice the clouds or patches in the street have created the shape of a heart and that is my reminder that we are always guided, supported and loved. In noticing these miracles, we naturally open ourselves to more wonders. This is what David Attenborough has done in his extraordinary life. Celebrating turning 100, he is testimony to the power of caring for our wonderful world and noticing the power of the smallest of creatures and the part they play in our eco system.
May saw us win two more prestigious awards from Get the Gloss for our Sacred Union Scent & Dry Oil and our Sleep Dharma Pillow Mist. Having now won 74 awards and counting, I realised I might be starting to take these accolades for granted. But each one is a reflection of the exceptional products we work so hard to create, and they help to give you reassurance of where you spend your money. So, I pledge to notice and give thanks for each and every award win and for your trust in us.
And your trust and loyalty has got us to 100k followers on Instagram. What begin quietly, from my own personal need to heal and reconnect, has grown into a sacred circle and it warms my heart when you share your feedback, support and love of our content.
Something new and wonderful I’d like to share is that we now offer face and body lymphatic drainage treatments, abhyanga and more at our London store. Veronica is truly a master and you’ll thank me for suggesting you book an appointment. We’ll have a booking system open soon, but until then, just mail us and we’ll share her availability.
If you can’t visit the store, explore our lymphatic drainage tools to help you feel lighter and brighter this summer. We’ve also introduced a beautiful selection of Mauli minis to give you that healthy summer glow, wherever you go.
If you can’t visit our store now, I do hope you’ll visit soon. Save 19th July in your diaries, as we will be hosting an Ayurvedic masterclass, yoga session and sound bath in our store, and we hope you can make it. More details soon.
As well as prepping for new retailers, store events and product launches, I’ve been busy planning our 35th wedding anniversary. Yes, 37 years together and married 35. This relationship serves my soul purpose. Some relationships have ended, as they are no longer needed for my evolution. Perhaps you are single, separated or divorced. Perhaps you have outgrown friendship groups or professional circles. Ask yourself who or what is serving your soul? What has become outdated? What needs to be allowed in? Get still, rest, nourish, move, connect and know the relationship that will never fail you will be the one you have with yourself; if only you will allow it.
This month, as ever, I hope you will take care of yourself.
With a wish for your wellbeing,
Anita x
