Maurice Lacroix proudly unveils the new 1975 Legacy – Signed Saignelégier, two exclusive limited editions created to celebrate the deep connection between the Manufacture and the village that has shaped its identity for decades. Produced in just 500 pieces per version, these elegant timepieces pay tribute to the watchmaking heritage, landscapes and traditions of the Franches-Montagnes region, where Maurice Lacroix has crafted its watches since 1975.

More than a watch, the 1975 Legacy is a celebration of the Maison’s roots. Released to honour June 23rd, a symbolic date in Jura history, these refined 39mm timepieces embody the values of Swiss craftsmanship, timeless elegance and regional pride. Every detail has been carefully conceived to tell the story of Saignelégier, blending heritage, artisanal expertise and contemporary watchmaking into a meaningful collector’s piece.

The dial is decorated with the distinctive "Vagues du Jura" motif, available in either powder silver or slate grey. Inspired by the rolling landscapes surrounding the Manufacture and originally developed for Maurice Lacroix's Manufacture collection, this refined pattern reflects the region's identity while showcasing exceptional finishing. A guilloché small seconds display at 6 o'clock, faceted 4N gold-tone indexes and dauphine hands, together with a vintage-inspired box sapphire crystal, complete the watch's understated elegance.

Turning the watch over reveals another tribute to its birthplace. The closed caseback is engraved with the iconic Marché-Concours Hall and three Franches-Montagnes horses, celebrating the region's renowned equestrian tradition. The engraving is completed by the inscription "Maurice Lacroix, Saignelégier", proudly reaffirming the Manufacture's enduring attachment to its home.

Powered by the automatic ML158 calibre offering an impressive 60-hour power reserve, the 1975 Legacy combines refined aesthetics with reliable Swiss performance. Housed in a 39mm stainless steel case and fitted with a black leather strap featuring the Easy Strap Exchange system, it is designed to accompany every occasion with effortless sophistication.
