Hey Guest,
I'm back in your inbox sharing helpful hand embroidery tips. This week we're covering common embroidery stitches. I learned to embroider as a young girl from my mom, but I didn't stick with it. At that age I needed a craft with more instant gratification. When I got back into hand embroidery as an adult, I remembered a few stitches, but not all that many. Now that I'm deep into hand embroidery and exploring so much more of it, I've come to learn there are hundreds of embroidery stitches. So where should you start?
In this blog post I share 9 of the most commonly used hand embroidery stitches. I encourage you to give them a try. The great thing about hand embroidery is that, if you find a stitch you don't like, there's usually another stitch you can create that will give you a similar effect.
Happy stitching -Melissa
