Happy Wednesday!
Summer has kicked into high-gear, and if you’re like me, that means you try to pack a lot into all those hours of daylight.
Sometimes it’s nice to have a reminder to slow down, especially if you find you’re never feeling fully recharged. If you’re trying to pinpoint your energy drains, be sure to read on. Plus, I’ve got a curated roundup of our favorite ways to address stress.
What’s your favorite stress-reducing activity? I love going on a walk in the woods when I need to regulate. Hit reply and tell me your go-to!

1 in 3 people don’t feel well-rested—here’s why
It’s sad but true—1 in 3 U.S. adults feels exhausted the moment they step out of bed. While it’s a multidimensional issue (and that might feel exhausting in itself), the upside is that this means there are multiple solutions.
According to a recent survey, these are the greatest energy vampires:¹
-
42% of people blamed a lack of quality sleep
-
26% cite financial worries
-
20% referenced bad weather
-
19% mentioned social interactions
-
And a third of respondents said it was due to their jobs
So what can we do? For one, if you’re waking up tired from the get-go, it’s time to change your nightly routine (try dimming the lights, getting in bed earlier, keeping your room cool).
Next, think about how you can address more of these specifics. Do you need to work on a budget during the day so money worries aren’t keeping you up at night? How can you leave work at work and say no to social events that don’t fill your cup?
Boundaries can be a healthy practice for achieving better rest.

An ingredient to energize tired-looking skin
|
|
|
|
Does your skin always look dull and tired? It may not be your sleeping habits, but instead your skin cells’ mitochondrial function.
With age, mitochondrial function slows and skin cell energy declines. This leads to a decline in collagen production, skin barrier function, and more.² As a result, skin appears worn out and visibly aged.
Now there’s an easy way to achieve lifted, firm, and energetic skin:
Timeline’s The Serum powers up your skin cells with Mitopure®.
-
Mitopure is clinically shown
to fight biological and environmental aging factors by enhancing skin cell energy.
-
It can provide
results comparable to retinol, a nighttime ingredient that is difficult to tolerate.
-
The formula also includes topical powerhouses like
niacinamide, caffeine, and green tea to provide
antioxidant protection and boost the skin barrier.
The result? Clinical studies show
The Serum can reduce the
appearance of wrinkles and increase firmness and elasticity starting within 15 days.*

Did you know your gut makes way more melatonin than your brain?
Most of us just think of melatonin as the “sleep hormone” produced by our brain’s pineal gland, but the gut actually deserves more credit: it produces at least 400 times more melatonin than the brain.³
+Go with your gut
That’s it for this week’s session of
Sleep School! Until next time, sleep tight.
