Good morning!
You’ve likely
heard about peptides over the last year due to the rise of GLP-1s, but you may not know that the FDA recently formed a committee to review seven others for the possibility of being accessible through compounding pharmacies.
On one hand, there are still concerns over a lack of rigorous human clinical trials and safety data covering the purity of some peptides. On the other hand, some fear closing the door on compounding pushes consumers to seek peptides
from untrustworthy sources.
Among those approved is BPC-157, which is used for tissue repair, gut healing, and reducing inflammation, and has already become quite popular despite lacking prior FDA approval. The committee’s votes can still be vetoed by the FDA, this was just a first step to get expert consensus.
Hit reply and tell me, what are your thoughts on peptide accessibility?

How leg strength impacts bone density
Strong legs are appealing for lots of reasons; running fast, hiking big hills, functional squats—the list goes on and on. But now we’re seeing
leg strength is also an indicator of better hip bone density:¹
-
Study participants completed a one-rep max leg press to assess strength: the heaviest weight they could push with their legs just once.
-
Bone density was measured at the hip and lower spine using dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry (a DEXA scan).
-
They found that
leg-press strength was strongly linked to hip bone density, and that connection held up even after accounting for age, sex, and body fat.
When you consider that breaking a hip over the age of 65 significantly increases the risk of death within the following year, it feels worthwhile to think about strength and bone density earlier in life.

The antioxidants your liver craves
|
|
|
|
You already know your liver works hard. But most people don't think about supporting it until something feels off.
The sluggishness after a big weekend. The bloated, heavy feeling that lingers. The afternoon energy crash you can't explain. That's not just a bad day, that could be your liver asking for support.
liver detox+ is different. Glutathione and NAC to support cellular defense,* milk thistle and selenium to support liver and kidney detox,* vitamin C to restore antioxidant defenses.* It’s daily support that works with your life, not against it.*
Support your liver. Enjoy your life.*

If you do one thing… think about your exhale
New research suggests the way we breathe may actually change what's happening inside our brains, influencing how we process information and even how we make decisions.³
-
Participants completed a series of decision-making tasks twice: once while breathing normally and once while intentionally making their exhales longer than their inhales.
- A longer exhale shifted participants into a more parasympathetic, or "rest and digest," state and increased HRV.
By reacting with conscious breath first, we can create conditions for clearer thinking, greater emotional flexibility, and more intentional decision-making.
+Deep breaths
That’s it for
the long game—we hope you’re geared up for the week ahead of you.
