Good morning! After this heat wave, doing any activity (outdoors or indoors) feels like exercise. And then exercising
on top of that can send your heart rate spiking quickly. But there are benefits to exercising in the
heat that we dive into here.
Tell me, are you a fan of heated workouts? Let me know by replying to this email!

The best drink for your liver
Coffee, especially
black coffee, is one of the healthiest beverages you can sip (despite it often being considered a guilty pleasure). A new 13-year study revealed just how profound that impact is on liver disease.¹
-
More coffee, lower risk: People who drank 5+ cups a day had a 32% lower risk of cirrhosis, a 47% lower risk of liver cancer, and a 42% lower risk of dying from liver disease compared to non-coffee drinkers.
-
Decaf counts too: The benefits were similar whether coffee was caffeinated or decaffeinated, suggesting it's not just the caffeine that's protective.
-
Healthier livers overall: Coffee drinkers also had less liver fat, less inflammation, and fewer signs of liver scarring on advanced imaging.
Why it matters: Both gray matter loss and reduced network connectivity While five cups (40 ounces) isn't necessary or realistic for everyone, having even 1-3 cups a day still supports
longevity and heart health.

5 reasons to take 500mg of cocoa flavanols daily
|
|
|
|
Tucked inside the cocoa bean is one of nature’s most powerful bioactives for healthy aging: cocoa flavanols.*
For over 30+ years, researchers have studied this impressive plant-nutrient, proving its
benefits for circulation, heart, and brain health.*
But recent research revealed a critical gap: adhering to standard dietary guidelines does not yield the flavanol intake levels associated with these beneficial cardiovascular effects.¹ That means
most people are missing out.
So, what exactly are the game-changing benefits you unlock when you consistently get the
clinically proven level of 500mg daily?
Here are
five of the most compelling, science-backed reasons:
-
Boost cognition and memory with
increased blood flow to the brain*
-
Support healthy blood pressure with
natural nitric oxide production*
-
Enhance fitness and endurance with
improved oxygen delivery to muscles*
-
Improve circulation and nutrient delivery with
enhanced vascular system performance*
-
Maintain flexible arteries with
clinically proven vessel elasticity*
To close the gap, we recommend
CocoaVia™, which contains the
No. 1 most clinically proven and concentrated cocoa flavanol extract. It’s available at the
500mg level and the
750mg Ultra level, which delivers benefits, fast.

Art is therapeutic. And not just in the way that creating something (whether a painting, drawing, or pottery) feels satisfying.
Research shows that art decreases anxiety, and in Greece, it’s even being prescribed as an antidepressant. Daisy Fancourt, a professor of psychobiology at University College London dove into the science behind art and brain health in the latest mindbodygreen podcast.
