The internet has this mischievous way of distilling big life truths into viral memes.

One of the funniest I’ve seen recently was the meme sparked by our guest on the Mindvalley podcast, Sara Al Madani. The meme is now at 2 BILLION views.

Here’s how it started….

On one of my podcasts, entrepreneur Sara Al Madani said, “Don’t love your job. Job your love.” And I couldn’t help myself—I leaned forward and blurted out: “I love that!” with such boyish enthusiasm that the internet pounced.

Sara was, of course, not babbling nonsense. She was speaking about the fact that one should turn their passion into a JOB.

I was accused of sucking up to Sara because she’s gorgeous. And yes—Sara is gorgeous. But she’s also like a sister to me. We’ve co-hosted CNN’s New Year's countdown together, and we’re good friends.

So why did I say “I love that” so emphatically?

Because it’s the philosophy that has shaped my entire life.

And it could be shaping yours, too.

Why Job Your Love Matters

Here’s the reality: most people don’t hate their jobs.

They tolerate them. And that’s far worse.

Gallup research shows 70% of Americans feel disengaged at work.

That’s not just career dissatisfaction—that’s life dissatisfaction.

That’s exactly what I did.

I loved books. My Malaysian home has over 1,000 of them. So I wrote The Code of the Extraordinary Mind, which hit #1 globally, followed by two other best-sellers.
I love health. Which is why I’m now launching my new AI health product. (You’ll read about this shortly).
I loved dabbling in AI. I built Mindvalley Mastery, a training company that crossed $30M in revenue in just its second year, with AI training as its number one micro-degree.

These weren’t accidents. They were deliberate fusions of passion, discipline, and identity.
