Hey there,
I'll say something that might sound strange coming from someone inviting you to spend your summer abroad: I think the beach & sun vacation is overrated.
There's something else you might want to try this year.
Every year, thousands of people in the Mindvalley community — many with their children — gather in an exotic location for the world's longest personal growth festival.
|
Some come for three days. Some come for two weeks. Some stay three weeks and go full immersion.
And what most people don't realize is how unusual this event actually is.
If you've never heard of it: Mindvalley U is happening this July 20 to August 2, in Tallinn, Estonia.
But the dates and the location aren't the thing.
It's the rules of the event that truly make it what it is — so much so that I wrote a whole article about them, The Unwritten Rules of Mindvalley U (Read all 16 here) →
This event has evolved into something I couldn't have scripted. Our members create WhatsApp groups — sometimes 200 people deep — and show up as a camp, booking out an entire hotel together. We've had people fall in love and get married. People whose children are transformed. People who finally lose the weight they've wanted to lose for years. And of course, the magic of hundreds of Mindvalley authors, facilitators, and trainers all in one place, freely serving.
It's why people joke that it's Burning Man meets a TED talk. And then, of course, there are the parties.

Let me tell you what's actually going to happen to you there.
These are the five experiences I'd want you to know about before you decide whether this is your summer.
🤝 1. You'll meet a stranger who stops being one
|
By Day 2, you'll have had more honest conversations than you've had in the last six months.
The person behind you in the coffee line is probably running an eight-figure company, healing from heartbreak, or about to teach you something you've spent five years trying to learn. At most events, you sit near people. Here, you meet them — fully. And some of them you'll still be talking to years from now.

💡 2. You'll have a breakthrough in the session you almost skipped |
Allergic to breathwork? Think sound healing is silly?
Those are exactly the rooms where it happens. Your resistance is the map. The thing you're rolling your eyes at is almost always the thing your nervous system has been quietly waiting for. People who follow only what's comfortable leave with a nice time. The ones who lean into what resists them leave transformed.

🎭 3. You'll become someone else for a night — and find yourself |
Pack a second suitcase. For costumes. I mean it.
We're the only event on earth where you might need an astronaut suit, swing shoes, and a glitter tiara in the same week. And here's the strange part: in costume, the serious entrepreneur from Singapore becomes a disco priestess — and stops performing the tense little brand of herself she carries everywhere. That's where the real you has been hiding all along.

🎤 4. You might walk in as an attendee — and leave as a teacher |
This is the one most people don't believe until they see it.
Regan Hillyer. Jeffrey Allen. Niraj Naik. Dawn Hoang. Every one of them started exactly where you are — a ticket holder in the audience.
Dawn sat silent in that audience for years, certain she was meant for more, too afraid to step up. One year she finally offered to teach a session. People lined up outside the door. She left having activated 700 people — and went on to reach thousands.
Every MVU ticket holder gets early access to apply for our community stage. Not everyone gets a spot — it's a real selection process. But you don't need a book deal or a million followers. You need a message that moves people, and the courage to step into the room. The next name on that list could be reading this email.

🌍 5. You'll leave a different person than the one who arrived |
This isn't a promise. It's a pattern.
8 years. 50+ countries. Tens of thousands of people who walked in as one version of themselves and walked out as another.
I've stopped trying to explain it.
I just set the stage now, step back, and let it happen.
Mindvalley U, July 20 - Aug 2, Estonia, Tallinn happening in Tallinn creative hub - Kultuurikatel.
Come for three days, one week, or the full two weeks.
If something in you is quietly whispering I should be there this year — that's the sixth thing.
Listen to it.
See you in Tallinn,

P.S. A few of you wrote asking why we don't do this in a more accessible city. Here's why: choosing Tallinn adds just a few hours to your travel — it's only two and a half hours from London — but what you gain in cost, quality, intimacy, and sheer magic is priceless. If you're tired of regular summer vacations… honestly, who needs more beach and sun? I think it's overrated. This is something else entirely. Join Mindvalley U this summer.
