Looking to sew more sustainably? Our new Exclusive plant-based basecloths are made from by-products and left over parts of plants from the aloe vera, olive, banana and orange industries.

Our Aloe Vera Plant Dobby is made from a blend of aloe vera and cotton, resulting in a soft, breathable fabric that is lightweight, but still durable. |
|
|
The fabric is woven with a dobby weave to add extra texture and dimension to the fabric. Use it make floaty blouses, dresses, skirts, shawls and more.

Our Banana Plant Dobby is made from a fibre extracted from the stems of the banana plant, which is usually discarded after the fruit is harvested. |

If you want to get a feel for our Minerva Exclusive Print On Demand basecloths, you don't need to wait for a sample to be printed. With our Quick Ship Samples, you can get a feel for the look and touch of our Print On Demand fabric base cloths without waiting for printing.

These samples are in stock in our warehouse now and are approximately 10cm in length, cut across the full width of the fabric, so they are a great size to handle the fabric in person and assess the weight, handle, drape, structure, opacity, etc.
