He was delighted when a stone and then a rose turned to pure gold in his hands. When he discovered that his dinner also turned into inedible gold, he started to regret his choice. And when his daughter ran into his arms she froze into a lifeless golden statue. 

Of course it’s a sad tale meant to teach us not to be greedy, but there’s a problem: you see, my love of Christmas decorations has no limits! 

If I had the Christmas Touch, I could deck the halls with a fingertip, spreading holly, wreaths, ornaments, bows, lights, and stockings everywhere I went. All my food would turn to Christmas dinner and pumpkin pie, even my kids would be suddenly dressed in matching holiday sweaters! Where is the downside? I can’t lose!
