A few years back, Ripley’s Believe It or Not hosted a “Strange Mail Contest.” To enter, all you had to do was mail them something unusual, but you had to do it without a box, envelope or package. Hosts of adventurous souls slapped stamps on things like a rolling pin, a bra, and a plastic lobster with the mailing address scrawled across one claw. 

Ripley’s was amused by what they received, but they seemed even more amused that the US Postal Service ACTUALLY mailed all this bonkers stuff, and got it to its destination pretty much intact. I don’t know if the mail carriers chuckled or sighed as they delivered their strange cargo, but I bet they remember delivering it!
