Today was a beautiful summer day in the city so I headed to the park for a solo picnic. I packed a blanket, a few snacks, and my current read, Unreasonable Hospitality. I reached for a new piece from our summer collection, which is always a good sign. When I find myself naturally wanting to wear something before it drops, I know we made something special.
I stretched out on my blanket, cracked opened my book, and immediately felt that shift in the season. As I laid down and looked up at the maple branches overhead, I thought about how much our lives change with the weather. What we wear, what we eat, the plans we make, the music we listen to—each season has its own distinct rhythm. Summer, especially, has a way of softening the edges of a day. The city feels warmer, looser, more alive.
For me, summer is evening walks through my neighborhood with an ice cream cone in hand. It’s breathable linen and easy silhouettes that don’t stick to my body, homemade meals eaten on the balcony, and hibiscus iced tea in the afternoon. These small rituals are how I savor the season, especially when they always seem to fly by too fast. That’s what I love most about designing seasonal collections—they mark time in such a tangible way. Each one feels like something to hold onto.
Our summer collection launches this Friday, and I think it’s one that you’ll want to remember the season in. It feels like summer through the Mixed lens: expressive, colorful, and memorable. There are bold prints, softer neutrals, and playful moments I think you’re going to love.
Even better, this drop will be in stock and ready to ship when it launches.
Excited to share more this week, Nasrin
