You might have noticed it’s all been a bit quiet from us over Black Friday and Cyber Monday, so I wanted to pop into your inbox with a little pre-Christmas update from the studio.
Why we don’t “do” Black Friday
At Morgan & French we don’t have rails of stock or boxes in a warehouse waiting to be cleared. Every piece we make is created to order, just for you – personalised, cast, finished and polished by hand in our little workshop or studio!
Because of that, we don’t run big blanket Black Friday discounts. Our prices are set fairly all year round, and the time and skill that go into each piece don’t change because there’s a sale on. So while other retailers have been shouting about offers, we’ve simply been here at the bench, quietly making!
There are a few things to catch you up on - especially as we hit peak Christmas-shopping season...

Christmas order books & making times
Our order books for Christmas are already filling up!
Each design has its own number of “making days”, and you’ll always see the current turnaround time and expected dispatch date on the product page before you order.
Some pieces, like our FingerPrint Jewellery, need a little more time – usually around 10 working days to complete once we have everything we need from you.
If you’re thinking of a personalised gift for Christmas, it’s a good idea to order sooner rather than later so we can give your piece the attention it deserves.

Need something sooner? Our Priority Service...
For those times when you need your jewellery more quickly, we now offer a Priority Service on selected designs.
Your piece is still handcrafted with exactly the same care and detail, but we bring it forward in your maker’s schedule so it can be finished earlier than usual. Typically, this brings completion forward by around 3–5 working days.
Because this means rearranging our bench time, the Priority Service adds a 40% uplift to your order total and is available on a limited number of pieces each day. You’ll see the Priority option clearly marked on eligible designs when you’re checking out.

Visit us at The Little Workshop in Stamford
If you’re nearby, our Little Workshop in Stamford is looking wonderfully festive and has some very special pieces you won’t find online – including one-of-a-kind earrings, rings, bracelets and necklaces.
We’re also offering Permanent Jewellery appointments in the run-up to Christmas – a beautiful way to mark a moment with someone special, or to treat yourself.
Cydney and Katie will be there to welcome you, chat through ideas, and help you find (or create) something just right. Do pop in for a browse if you’re in town.
