Over the last few weeks, MoveOn endorsed candidates have shown that our movement can still beat big money.
Progressive champions like Brad Lander in New York and Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan won their primaries despite outside groups spending millions of dollars to defeat them, including AIPAC, which spent close to $30 million against Abdul alone.1
But the fight is far from over.
With the general election roughly 75 days out, progressive candidates across the country are going up against opponents backed by the same kind of spending that tried to stop them in the primary. And while our people-powered movement may not have the tens of millions of dollars these dark money groups can spend, what we do have is something invaluable: people power.
MoveOn is fueled by people power, and our members alone could swing the results in crucial races across the country. That's why we're having members call fellow members about why their vote matters, and why we need to elect people who will fight for an economy that works for everyday people, not just the wealthy. But to pull it off, we’ll need your help. Can you help us make phone calls to voters?

These calls are one of the most direct and important things we can do to give us a bigger chance to reclaim the House this November. Every call is a chance to connect and engage with a fellow member and voter who may not fully be plugged into the ins and outs of politics and the stakes of this election. And the best part? You don’t need to be an expert, or have done this before to join us. RSVP here for as many shifts as you want.
All you will need is your phone or a computer, an open mind, and just a little bit of your time. Seriously. Before you start making calls, we’ll give you a script, training, and you will have the full support of our team every step of the way. Plus, you’ll be in community with other MoveOn members as well.
