Hey -!
I have two daughters.
And some days I look around our bathroom and think…
How did we get here?
Shampoo. Body wash. Face Masks. Perfume. Serums.
All of it a potential source of hormone-disrupting chemicals.
And that's before we even get to the rest of the house.
If you’re curious about where these harmful chemicals hide most…
Here's a quick list:
Laundry detergent—sits in fabric fibers and stays against skin all day long. Most "free and clear" versions still contain harmful or irritating ingredients.
Shampoo & conditioner—absorbed through the scalp. Kids use this every bath.
Perfume & body spray—"fragrance" on a label can legally mean hundreds of undisclosed chemicals, some of them harmful.
Lotion—applied directly to skin and left there.
Makeup—foundations, lipsticks, mascaras. Many still contain parabens and phthalates.
Dish soap—residue stays on plates and glasses your family eats and drinks from every day.
Surface cleaners—sprayed on counters where food is prepped, and little hands touch constantly.
I'm not sharing this to overwhelm you.
I'm sharing it because once you have the information, you can start somewhere.
You don't have to fix everything at once.
You just have to pick one thing and start there.
