105 million historical records added, free WWII records for VE Day, Cousin Finder™ receives great reviews, and more

In April 2025, we published 105 million historical records in 13 new and updated collections. These collections come from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Poland, and Czechia. They include passenger and air arrival records, immigration records, draft and enlistment records, military awards and casualty lists, gravestones and memorials, land petitions, and pages from historical newspapers.

This May marks 80 years since the end of World War II in Europe. To honor VE Day, MyHeritage is offering free access to all our World War II collections from May 7–11, 2025. Search millions of military records, draft registrations, service documents, and more.

Since its launch, Cousin Finder™ has received enthusiastic feedback from MyHeritage users. The free feature helps you find blood relatives who share a common ancestor with you, based on family tree connections — a useful alternative or supplement to DNA testing.

We've published 42 million World War II draft registration records from across the United States, covering men aged 18 to 64 who registered between 1940 and 1947. These detailed cards offer insights like occupation, physical description, and next of kin. Search the WWII draft records and bring your family's wartime history to life.
