The past week has been a challenging and emotional one. The country, the Native team, and myself have been overwhelmed with heartbreak, fear, anger, frustration, confusion, indignation, powerlessness. 

Our company stands for products that put people’s safety first. Today, many Americans cannot feel safe living alongside racism and injustice. We support #BlackLivesMatter because we believe everyone should be treated equally, regardless of the color of their skin. 

I am proud to say that Native will make a donation to Black Lives Matter and the NAACP to aid in their work against racial injustice through non-violent direct action.. We are also continuing our partnership with Larkin Street Youth Services, a San Francisco nonprofit that helps foster youth build their lives during a time where 80% of all youth experiencing homelessness in San Francisco are people of color. 

My promise to our customers and our team is that Native will continue to be a place where discrimination based on race, gender, religious belief, or orientation will not be tolerated. We will continue to celebrate diversity at work and in the world.

We will continue to be a force for good, for justice, for our community.
