Kickstarter access, VIP, and tiers

Can I still get access to the VIP-Club pledges if I didn’t join before the campaign?

Signing up for the VIP acces was closed as soon as our Kickstarter launched, so it is unfortunately no longer available.

How do I actually use my VIP access on Kickstarter?

All verified VIP members received an email containing their VIP reward links. Clicking on these links unlocks the secret rewards associated on the email catalog. Once unlocked, this reward should appear on your Kickstarter reward lists alongside the other rewards.

What’s the difference between VIP and Super Early Bird?

VIPs are backers that paid a $5 reservation before launch to secure their VIP discounts. Super Early Birds are non-VIPs who can purchase rewards at the 2nd best pricing tier on launch. Super Early Bird rewards are limited in quantity, meaning they fill up at a first-come-first-serve basis, while ALL VIPs will receive their discounts within their specified buying period, as slots are unlimited.

I paid for VIP but didn’t receive an email with my VIP access links?

Why are add-ons for VIPs more expensive than the advertised VIP price?

This was the trickiest part of building out the ordering process for an extremely modular product. Due to the limitation from Kickstarter as to how add-ons function on the backend, we weren’t able to create separate add-ons for VIP and non-VIP backers. We looked for a lot of possibilities on how to best set this up, and also consulted with Kickstarter for a solution, but unfortunately the only reasonable option was to make all add-ons available at super early bird pricing. Connect vs Create

What is Naya Connect (vs Naya Create)?

Naya Connect is a keyboard platform built around the original Naya Create modules. While Create solves a very specific problem for users who need an ergonomic form factor, Connect is aimed towards users who prefer a more traditional layout.

Is Connect going to slow down Create development/support?

We can imagine you might be concerned that there is development resource overlap between Naya Connect and Create. Our mechanical engineers and electrical engineers are not significantly involved in Create anymore and can focus on Connect without affecting your Create experience. Our software and firmware developers are working on Naya Flow and Core which is / will be used for both products. Delivery of Connect will be a good amount of time out. Connect isn't and won't slow down our rate of improvement on Create.

Is Create available as a pledge tier in the Connect Kickstarter?

While Naya Create is not available as it’s own dedicated Pledge, we have made Naya Create available as an extra add-on to go alongside any Naya Connect pledge.

Compatibility: modules, attachments, switches

Will my existing Create modules work with Connect (Touch/Track/Tune/Float)?

Certainly! This interoperability is the core reason for why we wanted to build Connect in the first place, to build upon the original Naya ecosystem.

Can I connect the Type keyboard / Multipad / 6-key attachments to Create?

Due to how Create is built, there is no possible connection point available to use the Naya Connect attachments with Create. However, it is possible to use the Naya Dock + any Create module with the Naya Create keyboard together via wireless connection.

Are Connect switches compatible with Create?

No, Connect switches are not compatible with Create.

Can I buy just the Multipad as a standalone item / use it standalone?

The Multipad will not function as a standalone device and must be connected to one of the following:

• Naya Type, which requires a wired connection to your device.
• Naya Dock, which can be connected to your device either via cable, or wirelessly if powered by a Touch, Track, Tune or Float module.

The same is true for the 6-Key.

Wireless, Dock behavior, and connectivity

Is wireless available with just Type + one Dock? Do I need a module?

To operate wirelessly, a module is required (Touch, Track, Tune Float), because they contain the batteries that power the ecosystem.

Can the Dock be used standalone (wired and/or wireless) without the keyboard?

A Dock can be used standalone as long as a module is attached.

Ordering options and platform support

Can I split my pledge payments over time?

Yes! We have enabled the pledge over time option for our campaign.  You can read more about how it works here.

How do I choose black vs. silver on Kickstarter?

Selection of your preferred body colour for your main pledge including either a: Type, Dock, 6-Key, and/or Multipad will be collected in a survey once the campaign ends. However, you can already add extra add-ons with either a black or silver colour to your Kickstarter order if you wish. All products come with Black keycaps pre-installed, so White keycaps must be purchased as separate addons.

Are there separate Mac vs Windows layouts for Connect?

At this moment no, we have designed the Naya Connect layouts to be OS agnostic, meaning they feature symbols for both Mac and Windows on the same keys.

What about Linux / Mac Intel support (for Naya software)?

Software support for Linux and Mac Intel is currently in the works, and will be released alongside one of our upcoming software updates.

Shipping / delivery timing

When will Connect ship / when is delivery?

The dates listed on each Kickstarter reward indicate our expected ship-out window. Our current plan is to begin shipping in February 2027 and have all rewards shipped by April 2027. Transit time varies by destination (often a few days, and rarely a couple weeks).

Add-ons generally ship together with your main reward. In some cases we may split shipments (e.g., to get items to you sooner or based on stock available at different locations). If we split, it will be at no extra cost to you.

When does the Float module ship?

Generally, all parts of your pledge will ship together, including Float
