About Naomi House and Jacksplace

Naomi and Jack’s is a local independent charity that provides expert care and support for more than 600 seriously ill children, young adults, and their families across central southern England, from two specialist centres near Winchester. They offer outstanding medical care, short breaks (respite), play and activity programmes, therapeutic and bereavement support, as well as end of life care available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

How You Can Help

To bring this “Home from Home” family room to life at Naomi House, we are seeking your support. Contributions will go directly towards the creation of a thoughtfully designed, calm and comfortable space where families can stay together at the hospice during the most difficult of times. Every donation, large or small, will help to fund the design, furnishings and finishing touches that will make the room feel both practical and restorative. With your help, we can create an environment that offers privacy, dignity and a true sense of home for families when they need it most.

A Message From Max Konig, MD at Nina Campbell

Dear Reader,

I would be incredibly grateful if you would join me on this journey to raise funds to complete a “Home from Home” family room, designed and installed by the team at Nina Campbell. You can view the mood boards in this newsletter. To be clear, every penny raised will go directly towards the family room. Wherever possible, goods will be donated; where they are not, they will be supplied at cost. No fees will be paid to Nina Campbell.

Naomi and Jack’s cannot do what they do without the generous support of individuals. This month, we are raising funds for a brand-new family room, so families can stay at the hospice alongside their child. The families at N and J are there because, heartbreakingly, there is no second chance for their loved one, their fight is not one they will win. However, Naomi and Jack’s enables them to live as fully as possible, no matter how short that time may be.

By making a pledge, you will make a meaningful difference to the families at Naomi & Jack’s, both now and for many years to come. Most importantly, together we can ensure that whether it’s weeks, days or hours that the family have together, it will be supported by specialists in a peaceful, calm and comfortable, in a Home from Home space, what more can anyone ask for.
