As we are gently heading to our summer holidays, in about 2 weeks we will try to work remote and enjoy a bit of time of family and friends (nomasei still remains open don't worry), we are looking back to this first semester and we are sooo grateful and wanted to say thank you !
NOMASEI is something we are building Paule & I, hand by hand, little by little with our small team alongside of us but mostly with YOU on board. We were discussing with a journalist the other morning and we were telling her that what we love the most in this adventure is meeting YOU, the women wearing our shoes. You are so diverse in your own individuality, so kind, and interesting that it gives us trust and faith in humanity again.
For that and all the rest we wanted to share a little 10%off sitewide :
with code THANKYOU10*
*available until July 31st.
Btw : the boots that are always sold out are just now back in stock... so it may be the time to go get them!
In other words, more than just saying Thank you, we also wanted to take the opportunity of this open letter to look back with you on everything that just happened over the last 6 months.

1/ We closed our fundraise with our customers that joined to support us ! It was such a humbling moment to have this community joining us and wanted to support us. It allows us to still remain fully independant while still working on growing the business as we want it to be. Step by step, with an impeccable quality and care brought to the people, with an impact we can control...
2/ We launched our collab with our dearest friend Laura Brown and it was an immediate great success ! Thank you again for this. This collab was decided like a lot of things we do, very organically, just like because we genuinely love Laura.
Along the way, it allowed us to meet so many wonderful women, all part of Laura's community. They were all so nice and supportive. I actually made a speech during the LA dinner we organized and cried my eyes out in front of so much kindness

3/ We had our first ever LA pop up in west hollywood in April. For all of us -except Julia- , it was our first time in LA and we had a blast. Seeing you discover the new collection, meeting you, hearing your stories, spending time with you, seeing our team discover a new city, they were dreaming to discover, has been the greatest reward of all! And when people or journalists ask us what are the things we love the most with NOMASEI we always say, the POP UPS !
4/ We went to our first auction to support (RED) hosted by the great Lake Bell, Laura Brown, and Clare Vivier. Such a fun "american" experience. We've been partnering with (Red) thanks to Laura for over 3 years now, and being able to our small level to contribute to a great cause is very humbling to say the least.

5/ We launched our first ever kitten heels SILENCIO & PALACE and it seems you really liked them.
6 / We launched our little flat sandals Nottibianche and you went crazy for them! All of you. A little restock is coming back on preorder, I would advise you go get them.
7/ We launched our first ever ballerina and you went crazy for them also !!!! I can understand why... personnally I've been wearing them non stop througout my pregnancy.

8/ Our parisian showroom has never been so full ! So now we are ready for our first parisian boutique, like really ready. Btw if you have any requests or ideas for this first boutique, please do let us know !
9/ We welcomed 2 new senior members into the team, one in charge of our website (because yes we are a digital brand but we had nobody to manage our website), and one in charge of our marketing. Always about human, it's so nice to be able to build your own team with your own criteria. Paule & I are always saying that we are super happy to come to the office and see everyone and feel everyone's energy. Truly the best thing.
10/ We organized a stiletto dance class in London and truly had a blast !! We danced on murder on the dance floor, and, fun fact Sophie Ellis Bextor ended up actually buying our shoes online. Full circle accomplishment

11/ We booked our next 2 pop ups: NYC from october 13th to October 26th on 223 Mott Street and London from November 11th to 22nd on 2 Blenheim Crescent ! We can't wait !!!!
12/ We made our first TV appearance !
|
|
13/ We designed and made nice new hotel slippers for our friends at LES ROCHES ROUGES and to thank us, they allowed us to invite our friends to a 2 days getaway. We took a dance class, we laughed, we discussed about life, we played petanque, we ate great good... This was definititely a dreamy parenthese for Paule & I as we rarely take any day off.
|
|
14/ We parterned with a non profit that helps women to dare and to empower themselves after being laid off and to take the place they should have in the workplace as it should be. For all women taking job interviews we offered a free pair of shoes because when you feel good in your shoes you present yourself to the world, with more assertivity.

NOMASEI means six hands, Paule's hands, my hands and the hands of anyone contributing to make NOMASEI a reality. It's this idea you can dream alone but you need the village to make it happen.
So again, thank you for being part of our village! We are so grateful to have you on board with us and we can wait to see what comes next !
Have the greatest summer.
