One of the more sustainable fabrics out there is organic cotton. Unsurprisingly hypoallergenic, this fabric feels as comfortable as linen, but not as heavy.

While regular cotton is grown in chemical-intensive methods, organic cotton is grown in a way that has a low impact on the environment. Soil stays fertile and toxin-free, thanks to the avoidance of pesticides.
