Boulder's can't miss summer event is almost here!

Tulagi, the festival formerly known as Boulder Roots Music Fest takes over downtown Boulder — four days, 140+ artists, 20+ venues, every one of them walkable from Pearl Street. No fields, no parking lots, no shuttle buses. The city is the festival.

August 27-30, 2026

Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Everclear, and The SteelDrivers lead seven headliners, but the real excitement is what happens between the big sets: ducking into a listening room to catch a songwriter you've never heard of, following the sound down an alley, stumbling across your new favorite band three blocks from dinner.

With 140+ artists across every genre, discovery is the whole point. And the name means something here. Tulagi was the legendary venue on The Hill where Boulder's music scene came of age — the room where national acts and local heroes shared the same stage for over half a century.

This festival carries that spirit into the streets: world-class music, rooted in Boulder, open to everyone. One weekend. One walkable downtown. The whole music world in your backyard.

Single Day Passes Are On Sale

Can't make the whole weekend? Pick a day. Single day passes start at $75 and get you into every venue on Pearl Street that day. These are Early Bird prices and they will not get lower. They go up on August 16 or once 100 passes sell, whichever comes first.
