Well, I’ve hung a calendar in my office and am now crossing days off in anticipation of fall. The dogs are equally unimpressed with summer’s pace. With a whole lot of hunt in them and nowhere to go, they’ve taken to digging holes in the yard and chewing through the string lights on the deck. They tripped a GFCI outlet in the garage, one that also happens to run the freezer, triggering a five-alarm panic to save the thawing meat.

A friend’s dogs, of course. Mine are far too well trained to do something that heinous. 

We’re all thinking, “Are we there yet?” Luckily, I’ve got the Hunt App to keep me sharp until we get to fall. A few ways I’m keeping my head in the game:
