The Hoo isn't just the home of Osprey - it's where the business actually happens, day in, day out, all thanks to the people who look after it.

This summer's given us a lot to be excited about and grateful for, so we thought we ought to share a little of it with you.

Summer, The Osprey Way

The garden has always been at the heart of life here. Despite the dry weather, Julie Toll's Mediterranean kitchen garden has been humming with bees, butterflies and dragonflies - glorious, and inspiring ideas for our future plans.

But it's the people and animals who make The Hoo what it is - those who maintain it, the team here day to day, our family and our beloved fish, dogs and cats. Together, they make this place feel alive.

Our First Harvest

The bees have been the real story this summer. Our first ever honey harvest was met with real excitement from the whole team, and from visitors too. Its fragrant flavour surpassed anything we’d tasted before.
