Hey -,
The end of August used to be late summer here in NYC but nowadays it’s more like mid-summer. It’s Injex weather through Halloween now, and with the threatened super El Niño maybe through Thanksgiving....

Injected Linen, aka Injex is our unique warp-knit, weft-insertion fabric that offers an unparalleled combination of openness with opacity. There are more open and breathable fabrics out there, but you can see right through all of them! The Injex is opaque enough to wear to work, and breathable enough to wear instead of shorts (with maybe a degree or two difference). The Injex Midis are cut loose in the leg, very similar to the old Injex 109s, but with a properly tailored top-block. The Injected Linen Pants are the slimmer originals. All of them offer that Injex breathability but it’s worth noting that the looser you wear Injected Linen the cooler and more breathable it feels.

No matter what global warming and el Niño bring, it still will start to get cool at night sometime soon and that’s where the Injex Hoodie-up comes in. Injected Linen weighs about 170gsm which is super light for a pant but a hefty medium weight for shirts, in other words it makes summer pants and transition season shirts. The hoodie-up is a proper hybrid of a button-up and a hoodie. The neck opening is big and wide, allowing for a big and proper hood. The body is a nice hoodie width as well, but the details are pure button up, a button front placket and proper shirt cuffs on the arm. The triple button cuff closure lets you wear it tight like a hoodie, at the top of the hand like a button-up or over the palm for extra sun protection. But if you really want to freak it, go for an Injex Magzip Boxford instead.
