The Beach Things (Things, Towels, Futureworks, Packs and a Shipping Experiment)

Is this email not displaying correctly?View it in your browser. Hey Everyone, Summer. Even in a world gone crazy we need to celebrate the sun. That means the beach. Which requires beach things. Towels of course. Some shorts you can swim in, or perhaps an even more technical short that you can also swim in. And yes a Beach Thing helps too. Plus for June only we are experimenting with free domestic shipping ($75 and up) and a reasonable international flat rate. The Beach Thing was one of those accidental conceptions, while making last year's Openweight Things we decided to sew one up in our Grid Linen Towel fabric, and it suddenly became the most popular sample in the studio. It's a hooded, wearable towel, and it is way too useful at the beach. It does all the drying off stuff, and you can lay on it too. But where it really charms is all those liminal beach situations where you just need a quick cover up, some light privacy or a little bit of warmth as the sun cools. Expected this Thursday.WWW.OUTLIER.NYC/BEACHTHING Sometimes a straight up towel is all you need, and our Grid Linen ones are beach optimal. Lightweight, compact and sand shedding, they let you chill a little bit harder while carrying a little bit less. Truth be told they are pretty optimal for hiking and travel too. Linen naturally absorbs lots of moisture while maintaining a dry hand feel, which means you need far less material than with cotton. We love them in the home too, but that's an acquired taste. For this summer we switched them up a bit and are now doing them in three yarn dyed colors.
