As I write, monsoon season is hitting vulnerable communities, including Rohingya refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. Camps are experiencing floods – pushing families in already fragile living conditions to the limit.

The large-scale water systems, designed as temporary measures and never intended to serve so many people for so long, now need urgent repair. But heavy rains threaten to submerge outdated facilities and, worse, contaminate water supplies with potentially deadly disease. The risks of waterborne diseases such as dysentery and diarrhoea are real and everywhere.

Will you give today? Your donation could help fund flood-proof tap stands and tubewells, so families and communities can stay free from disease through the monsoon and beyond, in Cox’s Bazar and all over the world.
