Set on the stunning grounds of Wilson’s Orchard, core4 is more than a race—it’s a full weekend celebration with camping, live music, and local food. Riders from around the world descend on Iowa to take on the iconic mix of surfaces: gravel, pavement, singletrack, and B-roads.

Iowa City has some of the best gravel cycling in the world and core4 aims to showcase this on the global stage in 2025 as part of the Gravel Earth Series.

core4 started in 2022 and has seen exponential growth every year since. Current ridership is estimated at 1,200-1,400 athletes in 2025. The vision started with the growth of gravel cycling and Iowa’s strong pedigree and quality offering in this discipline.
