Hey ,

La Pierre Ronde is one of the most exciting new projects in Burgundy. Like Cassiopée or Les Horées, it was launched by someone with a serious winemaking resumé who comes with a seal of approval from Burgundy's blue-chips. In the case of La Pierre Ronde, that means Antoine Lepetit de la Bigne, who worked at Domaine Leflaive for eight years, and is the man for all-things biodynamic in Burgundy.

2024 marks just the fourth release from Antoine under his own label. These are special wines that will, without question, make major waves in Burgundy in the very near future. Less than a case of each wine arrives this week.

Antoine's light touch produces pure, finessed white wines. That’s on display in this smoky, airy aligoté.
These are both pure, lithe whites from small plots in the Cote de Beaune. The Cote d’Or, from a parcel in Saint-Aubin, is a bit rounder than the crisp, mineral-driven Hautes-Cotes.
From a cool, windy site in Rully, this is a vibrant, notably salty White Burgundy.
These small-production bottlings come from very old vines in some of Meursault’s best sites at the village and premier cru level, respectively.
Enjoy,
Grant
