Jean-Philippe’s meticulous, sun-up to sun-down work in the vineyard, along with extensive aging regimens and little to no oak, yield pure, crystalline white wines from around Meursault. Made entirely with grapes from Meursault, this is an ideal window into Fichet’s bright, transparent style.
From old vines around Meursault - some adjacent to the premier cru vineyard of Charmes - the rich, subtly nutty ‘VV’ lands like classic Meursault.
This comes from a cool, high-elevation site in the Hautes Côtes, which yields a particularly bright, racy white wine.
A toasty, salty, midweight White Burgundy made in limited quantities from Chassagne-Montrachet.
Simultaneously elegant and weighty, Fichet's richly textured Meursault is a serious wine for the price.
