🇭🇳 ✨ Now Roasting: Honduras - Las FLores
Our first Honduran coffee of the season comes freshly arrived from Finca Las Flores, one of several small farms belonging to Roger Domínguez.
This fully washed coffee is more subtle than the naturals Roger produces at Finca San Francisco, but easily as delicious. We taste plump concord grapes, spiced apple cider, graham cracker, milk chocolate, orange zest, and molasses - equally delicious as filter coffee or espresso.

👩🌾 🌺 Partner Story: Las Flores
Check out an excerpt from our newest release's Partner Story, written by our Green Coffee Buyer, and click the link below to read the full story:
Historically Honduras lacked adequate infrastructure for coffee production, and as a result it was not celebrated for is coffee quality in the same way that Guatemala and El Salvador have been for well over a century. Beginning in the early 2000s this changed rather dramatically, led by a wave of visionary producers who believed in the strong potential of Honduran coffees. Today, Honduras is the largest producer of coffee in Central America, and Marcala is undoubtedly the source of some of the world's best coffees year after year.
Roger's coffee is proof of the stellar quality that is now possible in Honduras, and we're delighted to be able to offer Las Flores yet again.

🌿 ☕️ Summer Recipe: Espresso Mint Julep
We're keeping cool with our favorite seasonal coffee recipes. This week, we're featuring an unexpected seasonal flavor pairing of basil-mint syrup, textured milk, and espresso. The summery herbs in the simple syrup are a bit unexpected, but they pair really well with the espresso without overpowering its nuances. The result is a very refreshing drink that's complex and not overly sweet.

🖤 🐑 What We're Listening To: Metric
If you've ever seen the action/comedy from the early 2000s, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, then you're likely familiar with the band known as Metric. In this movie, Brie Larson's character performs the song "Black Sheep," which has since become one of the most popular Metric songs, Brie Larson version and otherwise.
Aside from this cult classic, Metric has tons of other great hits, and the band recently release a new album entitled Romanticize The Dive. Their sound is peaceful yet powerful, punchy, and catchy. I hope you give them a listen!
