Before autumn production begins, every machine is carefully prepared for the season ahead. The needle beds are cleaned by hand, removing loose fibres, dust and traces of previous yarns. This careful maintenance keeps each machine running smoothly and protects the purity of every colour, preventing fibres from one yarn carrying into the next jumper.


It is quiet, detailed work, but it matters. Good knitwear begins long before the first garment comes off the machine.
