Dear Pen Family,
I hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend and had a chance to spend some quality time with family and friends.
This past weekend was especially meaningful for us as we hosted my daughter’s graduation party at our home. My brother and his family came down from New York, and the house was filled with laughter, conversations, and so many happy moments. At the end of it all, seeing my daughter happy and surrounded by people who care about her reminded me what every parent truly strives for.
At Pen Boutique, the excitement continues as we enter the final days of our Kaweco DIY event, ending this Saturday. For those in the area, please do stop by and create one for yourself. Last week honestly felt like a little celebration — fountain pen lovers came out in full force, not just to build pens, but to interact, laugh, and enjoy the community together.
Tomorrow, Friday at 6PM, we have our monthly Pen, Paper and Ink meetup. Reservations are already full, and we are so excited to spend the evening together with everyone attending. These meetups have become such a wonderful way for our community to connect, share pens, inks, and stories, and simply enjoy time together.
This Saturday, we will also have Tony from Nahvalur joining us for a special Nahvalur and Omas pop-up event. Tony is bringing some fantastic deals, and the first 50 customers who stop by his table will receive a FREE Nahvalur notebook made with Mnemosyne paper, which is being introduced for the very first time. I have a feeling these will go very quickly!
And finally, a quick update many of you have been asking about — our new stationery and ink expansion space is almost complete. If all goes well, we hope to open by July 1st. We’re excited to bring in more inks, stationery, and unique finds from around the world for our community to enjoy.
